A SACRED HISTORY

Presidente Cigars draws on more than 20 years of tradition. The story began in 1997 in the Dominican Republic, when Swiss native Marco Rudolf and Austrian Karl Ströml met in a small cigar factory. From this encounter, a clear vision was born: to create balanced and light cigars, prioritizing smoking comfort.

In Punta Cana, production started with a single experienced roller, before gradually expanding to reach more than 30 employees and an extended range. An aficionado of mild cigars with a smooth draw, Marco Rudolf directly influenced the development of the formats, notably with the Robusto 50. Initially reserved for a select circle, this creation would later become accessible to all, giving rise to the name Presidente Robusto 50.

Since 2009, Sandra Rudolf has embodied the brand as an ambassador, passionately driving the evolution and influence of Presidente Cigars.
