CAO PILON: Rich Rodriguez and his team created a cigar so exceptional that Rich himself declared he was ready to put his signature on it immediately. He thus placed his name on all the bands of the PILON series cigars.
This line is distinguished by the use of an ancient Cuban fermentation method called PILON. The filler and binder are processed using this traditional technique. The wrapper, meanwhile, comes from an Ecuadorian Habano Viso tobacco, with a golden hue and velvety texture. Upon lighting, the cigar reveals woody and spicy aromas, followed by a strong earthy touch. Halfway through, peppery notes appear, giving way to a subtle sweetness at the end of the tasting.
The HUMI-PACK packaging features a patented coating that combines a transparent film with a special top plastic layer, creating an airtight barrier that maintains optimal humidity, thus preserving the cigar's flavor and aroma. This system can therefore partially replace a humidor.
