A cigar with a maduro wrapper, offering a robust intensity with deep notes of earth and spice. Its dense and generous character is aimed at seasoned connoisseurs. The Piedra family emigrated to Cuba in the 1880s from the Asturias region of Spain. They settled near Santa Clara, in the heart of the Remedios region, an area renowned for tobacco cultivation since the 16th century, where they began their cigar production. José L. Piedra cigars are handmade using the traditional "Tripa Corta" method, using exclusively tobacco from Remedios.
