The Aurora 120 Anniversary: to celebrate its 120 years, the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic presents an extraordinary new line: cigars that embody and condense all its passion, creativity, and expertise.
In the heart of the Cibao Valley, La Aurora has its own plantations and long-standing partners. Master blender Manuel Inoa, through a long process, created a range composed exclusively of Dominican tobaccos, including the Habana 92 wrapper, which is aromatic and has an excellent burn.
The cigars are rather full-bodied when smoked, but very balanced, without ever compromising flavor. This feat is made possible by the in-depth knowledge of La Aurora's rollers.
The beginning is bold, with aromas of cedar wood—due to aging—leaning on flavors of pepper, cinnamon, and anise. It then shifts toward more sweetness, with cocoa and creamy coffee. It becomes honeyed and fruity thereafter, leading to a memorable finish; this is the case for several vitolas from this brand that we greatly appreciate at Tabashop.
