Matilde Serena – Sweetness and balance in complete serenity
The Serena line from Matilde seduces with its sweetness, featuring a light to medium-bodied profile. It is the lightest vitola in the Matilde family. Its name, Serena, meaning "peaceful" and "calm," perfectly reflects the harmonious character of this cigar.
The filler is made up of a blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The binder comes exclusively from the Dominican Republic, while the wrapper is an elegant, light-colored and silky Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf. Offered in four popular sizes, this line offers excellent value for money.
An ideal choice to start the day… or your passion
It is the perfect cigar for new aficionados or for those who wish to start the day gently. Upon lighting, sweet notes of caramel are revealed, before giving way to woody aromas and hints of coffee. The experience concludes with a pleasantly creamy finish.
The legacy of one of the oldest brands in the Dominican Republic
Founded in 1876 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Matilde is one of the first tobacco houses in the Dominican Republic. Although operations ceased in the early 1900s, the brand was reborn in 2014 under the leadership of the Seijas family. Their first line, Matilde Renacer, immediately entered the prestigious list of the 25 best cigars of 2014, with a remarkable score of 92 points.
