Silencio Black: the bold little sister of the Silencio Red Dot

Launched about a year after the classic Red Dot version, the Silencio Black follows in the tradition of Silencio cigars. Enthusiasts will likely recognize the famous red dot in the letter "O," a nod to the Cohiba logo as it appears in the United States. Due to trademark restrictions, these cigars cannot be sold under the Cohiba name in Europe. The brand was therefore renamed Silencio on the European market, where only authentic Cuban products may carry names such as Cohiba, Montecristo, Havanna, or Vuelta Abajo.

Silencio Black: intense pleasure for discerning enthusiasts

Convinced of the success of this blend in the United States, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) and General Cigars decided to introduce it to Europe. Following the arrival of the Silencio Red Dot in the summer of 2021, the Maduro version, named Silencio Black, followed about a year later.

A rich and deep flavor profile

The Silencio Black entices with its complex aromas of earth, coffee, leather, pepper, and dark chocolate. It is wrapped in an American Broadleaf leaf, encasing Dominican Piloto tobaccos and a full-bodied filler blending leaves from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Nicaragua.
